Privacy Policy for Vibe Pet

At Vibe Apps, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how the Vibe Pet iOS application — listed on the App Store as "Vibe Pet: Virtual Pet" — and its Dynamic Island Live Activity ("the App") handle your information.

Our core principle is simple: Vibe Pet does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The App contains no networking code at all: no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no server of any kind. There is nothing to send, so nothing is sent.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Vibe Pet is designed to run entirely locally on your device. We do not collect any personal information, analytics, usage data, or crash reports directly. The App has no sign-up, no account, and no user profile; it never asks who you are and assigns you no identifier. We do not track your behaviour.

2. What The App Remembers

Everything Vibe Pet remembers is game state, and all of it stays inside the App's own sandbox on your device:

• Your Pets: the names you type, the chosen character, sex, and date of birth.
• Their Wellbeing: fullness and joy levels with the timestamp they were measured at, plus sleep and revival times and how many times a pet has been fed back to life. Timestamps are what let a pet get believably hungry between launches, without any background activity.
• Your Preferences: which pet is active, whether it is pinned to the Dynamic Island, and whether haptics are on.

This is written to Apple's standard local preference storage, readable only by Vibe Pet. It is never transmitted anywhere, and deleting the App removes all of it.

3. The Dynamic Island and Lock Screen

Pinning a pet to the Dynamic Island uses a Live Activity, which shows the pet's face and name. It is drawn by iOS on your device from data the App already holds. This is not a push notification: the Live Activity is started without a push token, so there is no server behind it and no remote updates — even the moment a neglected pet falls asleep in the Island is computed in advance on your device.

iOS asks for your permission the first time, and you can withdraw it at any point in the system Settings, or simply switch the Dynamic Island off inside the App.

4. Wallpaper Sharing

Wallpapers are rendered on your device from your pet's artwork and handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where an image goes from there is entirely your choice and is governed by whichever app or service you pick. Vibe Pet keeps no copy and is not involved in the transfer. The App does not request access to your photo library, your camera, your contacts, or your location.

5. Children's Privacy

Vibe Pet is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.

6. Third-Party Services & Website Analytics

The Vibe Pet application does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tracking, or advertising frameworks. The app operates entirely standalone on your device.

This website uses PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect anonymous usage data, only after you provide explicit consent via the analytics banner. No cookies or persistent identifiers are stored. No personally identifiable information is collected.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a future version of Vibe Pet ever collects anything, this page and the App's App Store privacy details will be updated before that version ships, along with the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
