Privacy Policy for Motya

At Vibe Apps, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how Motya, the shopping list application for iPhone (“the App”), handles your information.

Our core principle is simple: Motya does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. The App has no network code at all — it never contacts a server, ours or anyone else’s. Store prices in its product catalog were collected when the App was built and ship inside it.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Motya runs entirely on your device. We do not collect any personal information, analytics, usage data, or crash reports. The App does not require an account, contains no advertising, and we do not track your behaviour.

2. Your Lists, Products and Spending

Everything you enter stays on your device: your shopping lists, finished lists, the prices you type, the products and categories you create or edit, and the spending statistics and suggestions the App works out from your finished lists.

• Stored On Your Device: this data is kept in files inside a container shared only by the App and its own Home Screen widget, so the widget can show your list and let you check items off.
• Never Uploaded: it is not sent to us, not backed up to any Vibe Apps server, and not shared with any third party.
• You Can Remove It: deleting a list or clearing the history in Settings deletes that data. Deleting the App removes all of it.

3. Sharing a List

When you tap Share, the App hands the list as plain text to Apple’s share sheet, and you choose where it goes (Messages, Telegram, Notes and so on). We never see what you share; from that point the app you chose handles it under its own privacy policy.

4. App Settings and Preferences

Your preferences — such as currency, trip budget and whether the screen stays on while shopping — are saved locally on your device using Apple’s standard preference storage. We do not have access to this data, nor is it stored on any of our own servers.

5. Device Backups

Motya does not use iCloud sync or any Vibe Apps cloud service. Whether the App’s data is included in your device backup is governed by your own iCloud Backup or computer backup settings, between you and Apple.

6. Children’s Privacy

Motya does not collect data from anyone, including children.

7. Third-Party Services & Website Analytics

The Motya application does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics tracking, or advertising frameworks. The app operates entirely standalone on your device.

This website uses PostHog (EU-hosted) to collect anonymous usage data, only after you provide explicit consent via the analytics banner. No cookies or persistent identifiers are stored. No personally identifiable information is collected.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
